Description

The aim of this course is to provide anyone struggling to master their smartphone with the skills and confidence necessary to navigate the modern digital world through their phone.

Participants will be guided through a structured programme from the basics of smartphone settings and controls, to communication through the WhatsApp app. A full list of topics covered is provided below.

Please note: Every phone is different, so the information delivered in this course is generic. However, there will be plenty of opportunities to explore how your own phone operates in a supportive environment and to take your own notes.

You will learn about:

    Changing settings on a smartphone
    Dealing with pop-ups and notifications
    Keeping your Smartphone organised
    Connecting to the internet & searching for information
    Sending and receiving emails
    Downloading new apps
    Using common apps such as the RingGo parking app
    Using Whatsapp to chat and share photos and videos
