Join these courses to learn more about art history, artists and movements, aesthetics and the appreciation of different forms and styles of Modern Art from 1880's to the present day.The course is delivered in the classroom and may include a gallery visit, or exploration of online collection. Join these courses to learn more about art history, artists and movements, aesthetics and appreciation of different formes and styles of Modern Art from 1880' to the present day. Some sessions might include a gallery visit.

Can I join late?
Yes, by agreement with the tutor.

Who is the course for?
This course is for anyone who has an interest in art appreciation, Modern Art, enjoys visiting galleries and museums, and would like to improve their seeing of the art.

Do I need prior knowledge or experience?
No, this is all level course.

How will I learn?
A practical course with a mixture of one to one and small group tuition, demonstration, discussion and questions and answers. Visits to Galleries and museums, also virtual visits.

How will my progress be assessed?
You will be assessed informally by your tutor, as part of normal classroom activities. There will be plenty of opportunities to discuss your progress with your tutor.

Is there an external qualification?
No, this is an non-accredited course

What can I do next?
Further Art Appreciation courses at BAEC.

What do I need to bring?
Pen and norebook, Tutor will discuss at the first session.

Are there any extra costs?
Yes, there may be some additional costs for travel and admission charges to museums or galleries depending from govermental guidance.This will be discussed at the first session.

Is there work between sessions?
Yes, research on the Internet, library or individual gallery/museum visit.
