Enhance your flexibility, posture, and overall wellbeing in this gentle, mixed-ability class focused on improving spinal mobility. The class encourages mindful movement to calm the nervous system, release tension, and promote ease in everyday activities. Previous Tai Chi experience is helpful but not essential everyone can develop their skills at a comfortable pace.

More information
Slow Tai Chi movements allow the muscles and tendons to gently lengthen without triggering the protective stretch reflex that causes tightening. This safely increases the range of motion over time. Smooth and fluid motion ensures that the joint moves through its full available range without sudden impact or strain Gentle 3-dimensional rotating mobilizing the spine and the major ball and socket joints, which are critical for functional movements. The mental focus required in Tai Chi enhances proprioception, which allows for confident exploration of movement range.
