Description

A creative and friendly three-hour Saturday print making workshop, suitable for complete beginners and those with some experience. You will be guided step by step through simple printmaking techniques, using provided tools and materials to design and create your own unique prints. Whether you prefer festive themes, bold patterns or character-inspired artwork, you will leave with original prints to take home and the confidence to continue experimenting. Suitable for all abilities.  

Do I need prior knowledge or experience?
No previous experience required.

How will I learn?
A practical course with a mixture of one to one and small group tuition, demonstration, discussion and questions and answers.

How will my progress be assessed?
You will be assessed informally by your tutor, as part of normal classroom activities. There will be plenty of opportunities to discuss your progress with your tutor.

Is there an external qualification?
No, this is an non-accredited course

What can I do next?
You can continue to study etching at BAEC.

What do I need to bring?
Please wear loose comfortable old clothing. Gloves, aprons, sketchbooks and paper would also be useful but we do have some aprons at the centre.

Are there any extra costs?
The cost of materials is not included in the course fee.
