Clothesmaking - Improve your fitting skills

Visual of the course

Description

Improve your fitting skills - one day course

Have you made a lovely garment but don't wear it because the fit is not quite right? This course will help you correct those personal fit issues. You will learn how to correct gaping necklines, wide shoulders, ill-fitting sleeves etc.
Using an existing garment, you will explore various ways to correct an issue and alter the garment to improve the fit. You will also learn how to alter the paper pattern to correct the issue ready for your next project.
This course is not suitable for complete beginners to sewing as some knowledge of garment construction is required. As fitting is a personal issue you are required to bring garments you have made for yourself as well as your own sewing kit.

This is a one day course - starting at 10am and ending at 4pm with short break for lunch.
Lunch is not provided.
