This short course will help you improve your English grammar and develop the skills to write clearly and confidently for different audiences, situations and purposes.

Can I join late?
No late starters - short course.
Who is the course for?
This course is for anyone who has an interest in learning more about English grammar and writing clearly for different purposes.
Do I need prior knowledge or experience?
No prior experience is required.
How will I learn?
A practical course with a mixture of one to one and small group tuition, demonstration, discussion and questions and answers.
How will my progress be assessed?
You will be assessed informally by your tutor, as part of normal classroom activities. There will be plenty of opportunities to discuss your progress with your tutor.
Is there an external qualification?
No, this is an non-accredited course
What can I do next?
You can enrol on further English or other courses the Poverest or Kentwood Centres starting in September.
What do I need to bring?
A pen and a notepad.
Are there any extra costs?
No, this course is free to access.
Is there work between sessions?
It is useful to practise between sessions.
