Traditional Yoga - Sadhana Pranayama - Beginner

Description
The aim of this course is to leave participants feeling relaxed and rejuvenated after each class. Drawing on traditional Hatha Yoga and ancient yogic teachings rooted in Indian culture, the course introduces the foundations of yoga, exploring its benefits beyond the physical postures to support both mental and physical wellbeing.
Suitable for complete beginners, the course focuses on learning the basic Hatha Yoga postures (asanas), with guidance on technique and a range of modified variations to suit different abilities. You will be introduced to Surya Namaskar A (Sun Salutation A), learning the sequence step by step and exploring how to link movement with breath at a comfortable pace.
The course also introduces mindfulness, meditation (Dhyana) and the wider principles of yoga, helping you develop a greater understanding of how these practices can be incorporated into everyday life. The emphasis is on building confidence, improving body awareness and enjoying the practice without pressure to achieve a particular level of flexibility or strength.
Modifications and adjustments are offered throughout, and sessions are adapted to the needs and progress of the group. No previous experience is necessary. Please bring your own mat if you have one and read the full description in ''More details'' below before completing your enrolment.
