Digital Skills - Smartphones 3 - Get Organised

Visual of the course

Description

Turn your smartphone into your personal organiser and digital filing cabinet. This practical course will show you how to use your phone to manage appointments, set reminders, store important information and keep documents organised securely.

You'll learn how to make the most of built-in apps such as Calendar, Reminders, Notes, Contacts and Files, as well as cloud storage services like Google Drive or iCloud. Along the way, you'll discover how to reduce paper clutter, find documents quickly and understand how to back up your information so it's safe if your phone is lost or replaced.

By the end of the course, you'll feel more confident using your smartphone to stay organised, remember important tasks and manage everyday life more independently.

You'll learn how to:

Manage appointments with your calendar
Set reminders and create to-do lists
Create and organise notes, checklists and voice notes
Scan and store important documents
Use cloud storage to keep files safe and accessible
Organise downloaded files and folders
Manage your contacts and block unwanted callers
Understand backups, passwords and keeping your information secure
